Audi AG via the sports division tried to get closer to the consumer iPhone and iPad with two interactive applications through the two arenas. So racing fans DTM and Le Mans Intercontinental Cup (ILMC) can access all sorts of information related to Audi of course.
The first application named "Audi Sport" is the latest version of the previous (launched 2010) can be downloaded free through the application store on line. Contents, one of which related to the debut of the Audi R18 TDI in the arena ILMC in Spa, Belgium, earlier this May. "In a report last year's racing season, information related to the images, sound and video into the standard content of this application. Total 40,000 downloads can be owned by users of the iPhone and iPad free," said an official statement as reported by Audi autoevolution (05/05/2011).
In this application there are also some new function called "Live Ticker" that shows the current tensions driver behind the wheel. Then, there are 360 ??degree images of cars racing, the introduction of an interactive circuit and wallpapers.
The second application named, "Audi Express". A bag contains reviews racing information every week and the events behind the scenes that is not published, either in the DTM and ILMC. The application also can be enjoyed free of charge consumers. Thus, users of the iPhone and iPad, wait no more, staying just download it now!
